Series IV. contains flyers, leaflets, notices, photographs, reports, resolutions, pamphlets, bulletins, and newsletters regarding the activities and strikes of various labor unions. Unions of note include the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), the American Federation of Labor, Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and United Farm Workers. One letter from Cesar Chavez is present.

Scope and Contents From the Series: The Socialist Party is the English/Wales affiliate of the CWI/CIT. While the CWI/CIT include broader events world wide, the Socialist Party covers very specific socialist issues in the United Kingdom. Content Description From the Collection: The collection includes buttons, keychains, flags, and banners that were collected by the Holt Labor Library and relate to various labor strikes, commemorative events, political party and labor union election campaigns, women's rights causes, anti-war activism and demonstrations, and socialist political causes. Scope and Contents From the Series:

Militant is the publication of the Militant Party, a subset of the Labour Party in England/Wales. The newspaper was used to push forward party agenda and proliferate socialist issues. The Militant Party and the Militant newspaper went hand in hand. However, members of the Militant group eventually disassociated themselves from the Labour Party.
